Hi Gerardo,
We’re aiming to have 3D Invigorator release by the end of the year. The Windows version will be released earlier, but the Mac side still has a bit of re-writing left for the 64-bit conversion.

Hi Steve,
If you want to have the camera values, you can consider animating the camera in After Effects. By setting up ProAnimator as a plug-in for After Effects, you can use the setting “Use Comp Camera”.
The key to setting this up in either ProAnimator or After Effects is that the last frame in your animation should be where the camera is almost coming back to a full circle. This means, since you are doing a 360 rotation around your object, you’ll want the camera to stop at maybe 355 degrees at the last frame. Then, once you loop the animation with the starting frame, the animation should loop seamlessly.
Hope this helps.

Hi Eduardo,
You will want to look into 3D Serpentine. 3D Serpentine allows you to take any After Effects 3D Path, and extrude the path. 3D Serpentine allows you to customize the serpent body so you can create effects such as bow ties, film reels, shooting stars and much more.
For more information on 3D Serpentine, please check the link below:

You can take a look at the sample projects, which will contain projects that will fit what you are trying to do.

Hi Justin,
After dropping the curtain, you may want to remove the wind speed so that the flag doesn’t flag around on its own. You can also try adjusting the gravity setting and see if a higher gravity setting will help your curtain move more uniformly.

Hi Justin,
You may be running into a memory issue, which is why you’re not seeing the flag at 13000 pixels while you can see it at 10000 pixels. When working with 3D Flag, do not enlarge the flag by means of scaling, or you will run into the issue of having pixelated edges. Try applying 3D Flag to a Comp Sized Solid, then change the dimensions of the Flag to fit your project needs

September 21, 2010 at 10:40 pm in reply to: Wasn’t there supposed to be a new version out last August?Hi John,
There’s definitely a new version coming out. We’re very excited about all the new features it includes, and we are working hard to finish the 64-bit compatibility. We are aware that there are many users who are waiting anxiously to get their hands on the new versions of 3D Invigorator Pro and ProAnimator, and we are doing our best to ensure that we deliver a quality product that’s worth the wait.
We appreciate everyone’s patience during this conversion process, and apologize for the waiting time. The conversion is progressing steadily, but we estimate that it will be a couple months before the release of ProAnimator.

Hi Bernhard,
Sorry for the inconvenience. I understand that it’s frustrating to keep an old machine just to use one program.
Unfortunately, the conversion process is taking a while because we use a lot of custom interfaces for our programs. The custom interfaces take longer to convert because they have to be rebuilt for the 64-bit environment. There were also a few unexpected issues that popped up during the conversion process that made things difficult to work with. We have since resolved the issues, and things are progressing steadily. We are trying our best to release the plug-ins as quickly as possible.
Again, we apologize for the trouble of keeping a machine for using CS4, and we appreciate your patience.

Hi Scott,
This may sometimes happen if you have multiple objects that are ungrouped. Another thing that may cause this is if you have applied tweaks to your objects. Try grouping the objects together by selecting the Transition, and under “Transition Grouping”, select “Make Hard Group”. To remove tweaks applied to your objects, go to the bottom left corner of the Animation window, and click the “Reset Tweaks” button.

Hi Jake,
Good timing. We are actually sending out a newsletter that will address this. We realize that everyone is eagerly awaiting the CS5 compatible versions of our plug-ins, and we are working hard to get the plug-ins out as soon as possible.
We are estimating that 3D Invigorator Pro will be available by the end of next month. This will include the CS5 compatibility as well as all the new features of 3D Invigorator! Our other products will follow the release of 3D Invigorator, so there is no time table for the other products as of now.
We appreciate your patience, and will release the product once everything is working in top order.

Hi Rich,
I’m very happy to hear that you were able to make progress with your project. I have to admit, when I dove into ProAnimator the very first time, I was a little lost as to where I should begin too. However, once I got the right information from tutorials and the documentation, everything starts to make sense.
Feel free to contact me if you run into any questions. I’ll be happy to help.
Best,
Edward
