    Hi Lisa,

Sure, 3D Invigorator version 5.1.0 will work with After Effects CS6. There is a compatibility issue with the new DIsk Caching feature of After Effects CS6, but if you turn that feature off in the After Effects Preferences, then you should have no issues.

    Hi George,

From your description, it may be easier to duplicate the original Object Track that you created. Then, change the direction of the arrow and reverse the direction of the rotation. This should get you the type of animation you’re looking for without having to work with Parenting.

    Hi George,

Be sure to click on the button “Set Warp Target” at the position where the Warp looks right. This is usually the initial position where the object starts out. Then, after you have set the Warp Target, as you move the object around the Warp will remain the same.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi George,

We’ve simplified how to change the pivot point of an object. In ProAnimator version 5, simply select the object, then go into the Object Controls Panel. Expand the “Info” section and change the pivot point to the position that you need.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi George,

To do this, go to the Animation Timeline panel and select the Object Track where you want to bend the model. Then, go into the Track Commands and select “Add Warp Track”. This will add a Warp Track and a starting Warp Pose to the Object Track. If you select Warp Pose, you will see all the controls to bend the arrow. The default Warp Style is “Bend From Center”, which will bend your arrow into a circle if you increase the Warp Amount.

If you have any questions, let me know.

    Hi Tom,

We were originally set to release the new version of ProAnimator a few weeks back. However, we have decided to add in a few key changes to improve the way the program works. We’re finishing that process now and will polish the software up before release. We are expecting to release the software within a week or two tops. Thanks for your patience. We’re very excited about this new release and can’t wait for our users to start enjoying the new features!

    Hi Tomas,

ProAnimator version 4.5.1 is compatible with After Effects 6.5 – CS4. Since then, we have released ProAnimator version 5. Hi Eric,

Yes, please try the other versions I sent in the e-mail. We have made a few changes throughout version 5 releases, so I am wondering if you are running into any conflicts with the changes.

    Thanks.

    Hi Eric,

Were you able to have 3D Invigorator PRO version 4 working without any issues? Or are both version 4 and version 5 having issues on your system?

Also, I’ll send a few different versions to your e-mail and see if those versions work for you. Please check your e-mail today and try the versions included in the e-mail. Thanks.

    Hi Eric,

Thanks for the information. From your descriptions, you’re not able to get into the 3D Invigorator Set-Up window then. You may be running into an issue where the Preferences file or the Materials Presets are corrupted.

To fix this, try the following:

Go into the C:Documents and SettingsZaxwerks folder and deleting the Zaxwerks Preferences file. You can delete any of the Zaxwerks files there as well.

Next, go into the “DocumentsZaxwerks” folder, and deleting the 3D Invigorator PRO folder.

Then relaunch After Effects and see if you are able to go into the 3D Invigorator PRO Set-Up window. If you are still having issues, go into After Effects > Plug-ins > Zaxwerks 3D Invigorator PRO folder, and move the “Support Files – Do Not Edit” folder onto the Desktop. Relaunch the program and see if you are still having the same issues.

    Best,
    Edward
