Hi Nico,
When you are back in the After Effects Comp, be sure to click on the “Update Sets” button. This is the button that’s directly to the left of the “Little Red Ball” button in the Effect Controls panel.
Once you click this, the pivot point will be in the same position as you had set up in the Invigorator Set-Up window.

Hi Bob,
As for now, we don’t have a page where you can download ProAnimator templates. If you’re looking for animation presets, ProAnimator 6 did contain many new animation presets including dozens of fragmentation presets.
We definitely do welcome users to send us some animation presets or ProAnimator template projects. If we have a collection, we’ll be able to post them for users to download. If anyone is interested in sending templates or presets, please e-mail me at ed@zaxwerks.com

Hi Dave,
Wow, thanks for the update! I haven’t heard of anything like that before. I’ll be sure to make a note of it, thanks!

Hi Mike,
Right. We have changed the way the Shadowcatcher layer works in version 6. If you need an invisible floor plane, simply duplicate your existing Shadowcatcher plane and keep the new plane in the same position as the Shadowcatcher plane. Then, apply a Matte material onto the duplicated plane and it will mask out the other objects beneath the plane.
Hope this helps.

Hi Dave.
Right, it does sound like the Preferences or Presets might have gotten corrupted. Try downloading 3D Invigorator PRO version 6.1.0:
3D Invigorator PRO Mac Version Download Link:
https://zaxwerks.com/downloads/Invig_AE_currentp_mac.zipThen, go into the “Documents > Zaxwerks” folder and deleting the “3D Invigorator PRO AE 6” folder. Next, go into the “User > Library > Preferences” folder and deleting the “Zaxwerks 3D Invigorator PRO 6 Prefs” file. This should reset everything back to the factory defaults and you should have no issues with the plug-in. If you’re still having any problems, please let me know.

Hi William,
I’m not sure I follow what issue you are running into at the moment. It may be easier to send me the project file and I will take a look and see if I can figure out what you’re running into. My e-mail address is ed@zaxwerks.com

Hi George,
Hopefully you were able to get through the animation with the suggestions provided on Friday. If you are still running into problems, please e-mail me and I will be able to assist you.

Hi Jim,
Version 5.1.0 works with After Effects CS6, but you will have to turn off Disk Caching for it to work properly. If you need the download link for version 5.1.0, please e-mail me at ed@zaxwerks.com and I will provide the download link for you.
With version 6.1.0, the plug-in is optimized for After Effects CS6 so it will perform much faster and you will not need to disable the Disk Caching feature in After Effects.

Hi Cliff,
Thanks for the suggestion. I’ll bring it up to our development team.
As for now, one workaround you can try is working with a Layer Map. Create a Pre-Comp and have the color go from white to black at the time you want the object to fade out. Load the Pre-Comp as Layer Map 1. Then, go into the Material Editor and load the material you have applied on your object. In the Transparency section, load Layer Map 1 and the object will fade out when the material changes from white to black. It’s not as easy as setting up the transparency but hope it helps a little with what you are doing.
If you have any questions, just let me know.

October 8, 2012 at 4:50 pm in reply to: Moving Background reflection during shot in Proanimator 6?Hi Mike,
The map depends on the size that you need it. It should be fine to use a map that is the same as your project resolution. If you feel things are slowing down, you can set the ProAnimator layer to draft and it should speeds things up.
I have sent you an example project showing you how to set up the moving reflections. There are two ways to set up the moving reflections. One is to animate the map directly within the Pre-Comp as I mentioned in the previous posts. The other way is to animate the Layer Map offset value. In the example project I provided, I used the Layer Map offset value. Both approaches are similar and you should get the feel of how everything is set up.
Please check your e-mail for the example project.
If you’re still having any problems, please let me know.
Best,
Edward
