I would gladly accept the fact of the Academic version, but why let me upgrade and now they will not return it. They simply said “go try to sell it on ebay”. Don’t think that is a great company. In my company I bend over backwards for a client. I told them I would buy the full version, just take back the upgrade.

I thank you for your response but no dice. I have made the tracks dual mono. I right clicked at the auto preset and made the VO track1. I then made the music Track 2. They still are not split.

I have tried this and when I right ckick on the auto select, it say
1&2 with a check mark. You cannot select anything else.

Thanks for responding. What can I do about this. I have ordered a 2 aby removable disk enclosure. I was going to back up the edits that are finished and clean the media drive. THe question I have is that this drive is not a year old and files are getting corrupted? What is causing the files to get corrupted? I also have the software and am planning to upgrade to FCP 5 and OSX tiger.
Is that upgrade stable now.

They are not there any more. Some do lose the connection but some just vanish. Thanks for your response.

I see that you may be right for FCP 5, but not for 4.5.
I have the upgrade to 5 and have not had a chance to upgrade.
You know the saying, “Never upgrade in the middle of a project”
