I have never seen “24” but it sounds like you want to do a picture-in-picture effect.

Do not use the cinepak codec and remove the check from the “Recompress” checkbox.

Does the program monitor look the same as the exported result? Also, is the program monitor set to “Fit”?

You will need to call Adobe about this one. They will not charge you for activation problems.
