or after u import the artwork with brush stroke, copy that path onto it.then apply Stroke effect(under Generate). and choose reveal original from its menu.U may have to increase brush size to cover your brush stroke.And animate start or end.

also in same scene i was testing something else…i was panning a background image to test timing..which is a png file around 100kb…scene is around 8 secs but AE cant preview more than 5 secs..it used to handle more but somehow it cant now..
i have 2 gigs of dual ram and i had set my D partition for AE cache(around 50 gb)..

i think i have found it… trapcode starglow adds that bloom effect on highlighted edges!

you dont need any kind of extra pluging to reflect your image on any kind of angle..You can copy your image in AE and set it to 3d layer then you can rotate and position it for the suitable reflection angle..
