-Actually this DID work, sorry. the glitch is only hapenning for renders sent from Ae CC 2015 to Media Encoder CC 2015

[Chris Evans] “Did you try rendering out from AE as a high quality codec, then transcoding to h.264 in encoder?”
Yep I tried that. It still returned the exact same glitch!
-
[Dave LaRonde] “H.264 only works with standardized dimensions.”
Thanks for your response Dave. That could be a part of it, but I ran the same render through encoder on my workmates’ PC (I run a Macbook Pro) And it worked fine with those dimensions

September 18, 2013 at 9:47 pm in reply to: Collapse Transformations mayhem: 3D layers going ascewThanks John. I’ve tweaked a few things since my first post but still getting some strange bugs, i.e. The blue text of the account names is invisible until 07:17 and pops of again when the camera moves from it.
heres the link to my currrent working file:

September 18, 2013 at 11:33 am in reply to: Collapse Transformations mayhem: 3D layers going ascewThanks for your reply, Johnny. I have double-checked the correct layers are 3D, but as you can see in the vid; layers which had previously been moving in 3D are stopping at random points in time and freezing in 3D space while the rest of the composition continues moving (or that’s how it seems)

I am half Welsh, half New Zealander, and both nationalities have unsavoury reputation sregarding sheep.
When I first heard this ‘baa’ noise I blew a fuse and accused everyone for messing with my audio settings. It took a lot of convincing to make me believe that this is in fact a factory standard after effects error noise!
I just got it again today during a failed batch render.

Yep my SONY monitor is thePVM-D20L5A and it has loads of outputs, but nothing I can get to work on the TV set. I’m plugged into the RGB plugs on it and they have RGB outputs next to them but the TV desn’t have RGB inputs.
thanks Slobodan

Hi Marc, just interested, as I have a similar problem; What conversion settings did you use in compressor to get it to PAL?
thanks

May 7, 2010 at 2:20 am in reply to: Cinema 4D import to After Effects Motion Blur ErrorI’ve just run into a similar problem, and it seems there are some severe limitations in C4D when combining DOF with alpha channels. You need to find some kind of multi-pass workaround.

April 22, 2010 at 5:53 am in reply to: is there a way to display clip names in the canvas – just like the TC reader?I am looking for a similar thing for an edit which includes LOADs of still images. I need to hand it on to our motion graphics guys to animate the images, so a label on each image would be a huge help.
