Thanks for the help guys, all great ideas… but I would really just like to bind the current mouse that I have with zoom in/zoom out functions. I was playing around with “Customize Keyboard Layout” and it is simple enough to bind key’s from the keyboard but I can’t seem to figure out how to bind a mouse function and am wondering if I am missing something or if there is a work around to solve the problem.

That is really really great to know! I had no conception that the 100Mbit/s was only for 60i! So I am really not giving up anything with 24p/n other than the ability to dump to a field drive!? That is great. THANK YOU!

I just want to make sure I am understanding this correctly. 24pn doesn’t adopt another compression besides the 100Mbit/s used for DVCproHD?
I always figured that the difference in record time was due to a higher compression used similar to the compressions they use in HDV or the Sony 35Mbit/s compressions on the EX1-3.
So you are saying that the difference in file size is due to the fact that when a Panasonic records in 24p it is recording 24 over 60 and there for taking up the same amount of data that 60p records at? That 24p/n records in a true 24 frame output.
Just want to be clear here.
