I know, Tero. But once I installed version 15 the regular manual got overwritten. The manual with Media, Edit, etc. sections doesn’t exist right now, for me, anyway, just a listing of changes to the software.

I know those icons aren’t specific to v. 15, I just never thought to wonder about them before. I’d click on them and nothing would happen, and I just forgot about it since I was still only just beginning to learn the software and didn’t want to clutter up my feeble mind.

I see that on top of your usual lecture you provided the answer. Yer gettin’ soft, my friend 😉

You are obviously way more advanced than I will ever be in this field, so excuse my ignorance, but can’t you already lock a node by right clicking it? Isn’t that feature already in the right click menu? It’s the third choice down from the top. If I’m understanding you correctly. Sorry if you already knew this and are speaking of something else.

I always export h264. And many times I’ve found myself looking at the Delivery page as the render completes, and this is the first time I’ve seen this behavior. Of course it never happened in previous versions of DR, ergo I declare it to be a v. 15 bug! Remember, my videos are only a few minutes long, I’m not rendering out half hour documentaries.

For some reason my last three renders will chug along just fine until it gets to 99%, then it’ll hang for about 2 minutes before completing.

Make sure you get the OFX version. Install and it will show up under your OpenFX list of plugins.

I used to have that problem. What you probably did was turn off OpenFX when you clicked the button to turn them on, hence that error message on startup. Next time you get DR running, go to the color page, but don’t click “OpenFX”, click on the expand button (the one that looks like 4 arrows, to the right of the Timecode) and OpenFX plugins will appear.
