Not even close. I drag my video clip to the timeline (again, after having to manually create a blank track first). After placing the video, with the audio overwriting the audio on the track it insists on going to, I press Shift and drag down, but the video still slides around. After moving the mouse to the track I want the audio on, I let go of the mouse, the audio appears on the track I had the mouse on, but the video track disappears.

In the future, set your focus then set the camera to manual focus so it doesn’t change.

You know what drives me nuts, though. You already have 1 or more video/audio tracks in your timeline. You grab another video/audio track and drag it to the timeline, placing the video into an empty track, but the audio insists on overlaying and overwriting an existing track. The only workaround I’ve come up with is to drag the new clips to the end of the timeline so it doesn’t overwrite anything, then select the audio track and place it in its own track (that’s another thing. Video AND audio clips should create a new empty track when you drag them onto the timeline, I shouldn’t have to create them first!!!)

I tried using Ease In and Ease out as well since that’s what you did. No problems whatsoever. Try this just to isolate the problem. Do a new project, place a graphic image on one track and a title with the directional blur above it and see if it renders normally. If not there’s something weird going on. You might have the speed and direction settings too high. I noticed one of them is set at 90 degrees? I only set mine to like 7 and 16. I’ll upload the result.

First off your English, as well as your grammar and text layout, is perfect as far as I can see, and I’m from the Bronx. We invented English! 😉
I’ve never used directional blur, but I opened a project I’m working on and applied it to a title. I even added key frames so that it would start about half way through the title and get stronger towards the end. It rendered perfectly, and only took about 29 seconds. I should say I encoded it using Media Encoder. Does yours encode ok or does it hang up doing that as well? I’m not sure if there’s a difference between render time and encode time since I never render.
Anyway, in short, I had no problem and my PC isn’t exactly built for video editing. But my experience shows that it CAN be done. You just have to find the cause of your problem and I’m sure someone who knows better will see the problem in your screen capture. Good luck!

I put up my latest post at just about the same time as you put up this one, and I also was very tempted to add a WTF to my subject. While a different problem than yours, this is another example of Premiere Pro acting differently on its own. Unlike you I do this for fun so I don’t have angry clients looking over my shoulder, but I feel your pain.
There seems to be waaaaay too many weird problems popping up lately that only affects 1 or 2 people. That makes it a LOT harder to find a solution. Aggravating!
