You know it’s weird, I had the exact same thought last night (and NO, fellas, I don’t spend all my waking hours thinking about this!)
I think camera tracking pinpoints a part of the image that you can attach an effect to so that it moves in the same direction, but I don’t think you can use it to stabilize an image the way you can in After Effects. If I remember the Video CoPilot tutorial, the image spins and moves around and you need to do a lot of cropping, which will be no problem if you’re shooting 4K. -

Just seemed odd to me to have just a blacks and whites, shadows and highlights adjustments in the basic correction tab and no midtones adjustment. I just may have to ditch my PC and go Mac over this!!!

Or could you possible mean banding, like a blue sky? Seems if you’re producing video for a tv station you probably already know about banding and interlaced footage. I’m guessing it’s something far more complicated but give us a clue. Dave would appreciate it 😉

There’s no way to create a vignette automatically. If you open your project and click on vignette, where are the sliders? If you’re showing a vignette they would be off center. At center, or 0, there won’t be a vignette.
There’s a checkbox to the right of the word “Vignette”. Is it checked? If you uncheck it, does the vignette disappear?

How did you apply the vignette? From lumetri? From a plugin like Magic Bullet Film? If through lumetri panel are you saying that it shows all the controls at 0, but a vignette still shows up? Give us some more info. I don’t see how it’s possible to apply a vignette to one clip and have it show up on all of your clips unless you applied it to an adjustment layer, in which case just delete it from the adjustment layer and apply it just to the clip you want it on.

Yeah, I do the same thing. For some reason PPro is allergic to outside folders. You can’t even organize your LUT’s into folders. Inside PPro all of the LUT’s appear in one long list, in alphabetical order regardless how many subfolders you have in your LUT directory.
My only workaround for now is I put my images in the images folder, green screen footage in a green screen folder, etc., then in PPro create my bins and import the appropriate folder, knowing everything in it is all that I want to import.

Do you have CC 2015, or the CC 2015 that came out in June (CC 2015.3) that everyone thought was supposed to be CC 2016, which actually came out in November? I’m guessing you have the CC 2015 that came out in June of 2015. That version doesn’t have the easy ingest feature.
