    I plan to hook it up into desktop macpro intel, 2,66ghz, 4gb ram, ati radeoon 1900xt, might be upgrading some ram if I realise apple color is getting hungrier than I first thought…

    I have a MBP 2,4ghz and I am wondering what doees that mean…can I connect the IOHD to FW800 port and a FW400 disk to a FW400 port and expext this setup to work….or not?

    Or what would be a proper alternative? And is there any option how to connect both the AJAIOHD and fw800 disk to FW800 ports at the same time to my new MBP?

    It sounds like a hot contender…especially when I think of connecting it to my brand new macbook pro….that just could be the perfect match…mobile monitoring and capturings…oh what a delight..

    Thanks for the valuable answers….one more thing….does aja io hd allow real time downconverting of hd timeline…I have access to an sd crt sony monitor for free, however most of my timelines are in hd….can aja io hd hd-sd realtime monitoring…

    seems Kingston, OWC, and crucial that there are all good…I have a good price on kingston…they have a life time waranty if anything goes wrong…so I’ll probably go with that one… thanks to ya all…
