Sweet! Thanks! I’ll give that a shot.

Wow. That would be great. Any idea where to find that in the prefs, and how to properly change such without hosing the entire program???

    Thanks!

Anyone have a similar reaction as me to this weird change???

Is there a better place in these forums where I should ask this question? Perhaps the expressions section, as those folks seem fairly technically savvy?

    Thanks.

Thanks! That works, and is exactly what I was hoping for. That is such an elegantly simple script.

Great. Thanks. I’ll try this new code. But, where do I paste this expression? Is it in the “focus distance” channel?

Thank you so much for posting that. But would you mind giving me a little further help? I don’t entirely understand how to use that expression. I copied it, verbatim, and pasted it in the expression channel in “focus distance” in the AE camera, but it brings up a “property” warning.

Would you mind guiding me through the proper steps of implementing this expression?

    I really appreciate it.

32-bit is the solution. I’m rendering out PSD sequences, and at that color depth, they look great in AE, even when highly tweaked!

Yeah, it never ceases to amaze me how particular some aspects of these applications can be. But I’m really looking forward to trying out that script for this job!

Either way, I never have this problem when I go from Electric Image to AE. Never. Any EIAS & C4D users out there who can compare and contrast?

Thanks for that extra info. You know, I think I’ve been using Quicktime here and there, so that would probably account for some of this, as I don’t think QT can support 16bit, right?
