RUnning 10.4.11 and I don’t see a screen sharing selection in the sharing pane? THere’s remote desktop, web sharing….but no “screen sharing”.

Otay…got it. thanks. A little rtfm and I then discovered Sony’s ilink is essentially firewire. Turned off downconvert and it arrivews correctly. Allthough fro some reason, I can’t seem to preview audio in this mode…….? Anyways, Thanks for the tip.

The downconvert options are for letterbox, squeeze, and edge crop, but not off….?

[davemcc] “ou need to get a FireWire 800 PC card for your PowerBook. All Macs come with only one FW bus, regardless of the number and type of ports/connectors. Doing disk I/O and sending a video signal over the same FW bus can be very problematic.

I was afraid of that thanks….as far as the USB being bad for video,? Do you think it can handle dv25?

I use a decklink card on my desktop g4’s and g5’s…..this drive is for my laptop ie. no decklink card. I use an external firewire to analog video converter to monitor.
