It certainly sounds like you’ve imported with ‘leave in place’, since it’s looking for the card.
What you may be seeing in the Library package are aliases to the clips on the card. Check the sizes of the files in the Library without the card.

You can!
If you double-click on the smart collection, its Options window will appear and you can add / modify those filters to include or exclude whatever you choose.
EDIT: Maybe I misread, so I’ll add that you can create a custom Keyword smart collection with only the ones you want.

If you scrub through the multicam, do those bands crawl up / down?
It looks like something often seen when shooting monitors or displays where there’s a mismatch between frame rate and refresh rate of the display. That can sometimes be fixed with a plugin like Flicker Free.

It put up a fight! Attached is a zipped folder with the source XML, the translated .fcpxml, and a batch list.
EDIT: It takes awhile for FCPX to import this one, be patient.

Could you explain a bit further? Blackmagic has several cameras that can output a few different formats – which format / file settings are you using in-camera?
Where do you see the pixelation, in the timeline while editing or on export, or both?
How are you exporting, and what settings?

There are a few different ways – most common would probably be to group the shots into a compound clip and apply your zoom to that container (either with keyframes or plugin). Next would be an adjustment layer, which really is just an empty text generator that you can cover the clips with, and apply the zoom there.

Glad to help! Out of curiosity, do you typically import your media into the library, or leave in place? I typically reuse media across projects, so always leave the media in a standardized folder structure outside the library. This vastly reduces library size, and once render files are removed, the zipped libraries should be relatively small and quick to upload.
