Convert Apple Music (help)
Hey folks, I’m trying to do something for a family friend and hoping to find a simple workflow solution that you can help me with.
My family friend’s PC computer just died (motherboard or power supply) but the hard drive is intact. the files are recoverable without issue when I plug the HDD into another drive Bay.
My family friend wants to replace the existing PC desktop with a PC laptop, and she really just wants to retain the iTunes music library from HDD.
The concern is, how easy is it for her to retain the music files through either iTunes (if still supported and possible) or through another music player (would it play the .m4a Apple Music albums she bought)?
I’m trying to set things up for her via my Mac computer, and since were dealing with iTunes music, this is why I posted it on this forum.
Any help or suggestion of workflow, that will not cost me money in buying some converter app would be greatly appreciated. I also don’t want to try to have her do too much of this herself. She’s not very tech savvy.
Lastly, she has a LOT of music. Any method that could be done in batches, and retain album folder structure would be awesome.
Thx in advance.
Rick
