I also found information online that there may be a file “ae_render_only_node.txt” in my documents file and I should delete it. I couldn’t find this file, so that’s not an issue

2. Disable relative property links: Disable relative property links on the effect before copying it to a new layer. To do this, select the effect and go to the “Effect Controls” panel. Untick the “Relative Property Links” option.

Where to unclick “Relative Property Links” in “Effect Control” panel.

Hi Hector,

Thank you for the answer. The layer with the effect that was copied was still there when the error popped up. I want to try the option which you suggesting to disable the relative property links in control pannel but I can’t find where exactly. If you could explain in more details how I can do it that would be great. Thank you!!!

the layer which colors flicker it is a precomp, in the precomp are layers from Animate CC. I tried and replaced this layer with the same frame exported to Photoshop and the problem stayed.

I solved the mystery – it’s all about Bone parenting. So by default bone which correspond with a tiptoe is parented to the tiptoe structure, when I change it and parent it to the toe structure all works fine.

yes, I always set up AI files to be RGB if I want to use them in AE later but still colors are very different, especially the intensity.

Once it worked like that: AI file very intense colors, AE very dull, then when I took the AE file to Premiere Pro it went back to be more intense, not as intense as AI bit close….

I’m sure there are other things to click in each of these programs to make colors look same or close.

Hi Darby,
I just discovered that I was missing background layer, once I added solid layer at the bottom of my comp blending modes were working as they should…. After Effects and all it’s little tricks :)))
