So we played the resulting DVD through a standard DVD player, and low & behold, it views at 16:9 – perfect. However, it’s still 4:3 on a computer. Since we don’t know how the delivered DVD will be played, I need it to work perfectly on both.
The suggestion was made that it could be the iDVD format? Has anyone heard that before? If so, what is the best format for cross platform/universal playback and how do I change it?
Thanks for all your helpful feedback

Adam, Thank you for the advise. This looks better, but it’s still not 100% (small section cause my machine takes forever & a year to render) I added another light to the back of the scene to balance the one in the front.
I tried changing the lights to Infinite, but it turned the scene black again, so maybe there’s a setting I didn’t change? The Environment blew everything out so maybe I’ll play with the settings there.

Ok. I finally got a Sweep Nurbs to work, have my water texture applied – now how do I animate it? I tried animating just the points on an object before by adding key frames & moving the points. It didn’t work. The object through out the animation was altered.
I’m still learning the program, so I’m probably missing something simple.
Thank you for your help.

Well that’s weird. the html didn’t show up. Try something different
div class=”scaleImg” img src=”images/prettygirl.jpg”/ /div

Curtis,
1 – how did you find the css?
2- it didn’t work. i copied his attributes except for his alignment & margins. the image still isn’t scaling.
here is my html code for the image:

Here is my css class code:
.scaleImg {
width: 100%;
position: relative;
float: right;
}Do you see something I missed?
If it would help you to look at my page I can upload it. It’s just very preliminary & you know the whole artist “it’s not ready to be seen yet!” ego thing. 🙂
Should probably mention, I tried entering a min. width & it stayed at that size. When I remove the min width, it blows out the side of the browser window & doesn’t scale.

If you drag the corner of the page in and out, you can see the image of the guy sitting by the rocks grow & shrink while staying in proportion to the page.
I’ve used liquid layouts before – often actually – but I’ve never been able to figure out how to make the image scale with the page.

Of the page I’m building or just what I’m looking for in general?
This is an example of what I’m looking for: https://www.rock-on-rock-on.com/
My page isn’t anywhere near complete yet. 🙂
