Yes even with the whole folder on the hard drive it seems to only recognize the clips, it was for the purpose of effects and color correcting that I wanted to be able to treat the clip all at one time evenly. Thanks for input

Thank You Jeff, but it still keeps all clips separate maybe it is a CS6 function? or maybe just not with ex1 files.

Tero – I tried as you suggested it imports fine, but, keeps them in separate clips still? I watched a lesson online that implied there is a way to bring them in as the one sequential clip and it seemed to do it automatically? maybe that is CS6 I have CS 5.5?

    Finally figured it out FYI
    Go to C:program files/adobe/adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5/cuda_supported_cards.txt
open the txt file and simply add the name of your card to the list and then it will show up in your adobe GPU Choice box. I assume this is limited to compatible
    Hope that helps someone

December 22, 2013 at 10:21 pm in reply to: Is it possible to add markers on time line?

Ann If I may ask another question. When I drag the (play head marker thing)to the edge of a clip and want it to snap to the edge, it will not snap unless I zoom all the way in with my + key then it jumps to the edge of the clip. how can you make your (play head marker thing) snap to the end of a clip without having to zoom in every time? or is it even possible?
    Thank You

    Thank You Ann,
A question concerning the markers please, how would you line up things on multiple tracks on that marker – I started on vegas, its markers drop a line down through the tracks so you can line up multiple things on the line, is there any thing similar? I am just still learning PP.

October 19, 2013 at 3:45 am in reply to: How do I export a Movie in AE with Alfa Chan

Kramer is great help – Thank U
I am not familiar enough with keying in AE to understand what you both told me, but tried and want to make sure I did it correct
    1 Duplicated talent layer
2 Key light on top layer
3 Alfa Matte the duplicated layer (no Keylight)
4 Then turn of first/top layer??????

The reason I turned it off is that is when it seemed to make my second layer look ok. Is this correct? because when I left first layer on it still looked bad.

I am a beginner i didn’t even know what or where alfa matte was – but found it!
    Thanks for help

Thank U ALfa all set, That did it!
If I may ask another question that I don’t know the tech term for what I am saying. Its a Chroma Key Question.
    Key Light:
I key the Green : Ok
I choose Matte view : Get the White all Clean : Ok
I get the black all black: Ok
But when I go back to the composite/final view My (Talent that I keyed) has areas (that look as though my white area is actually not clean white) His Black coat is kinda pixilated looking in areas. But If I go back to matte view it is Clean White and Clean Black. But the picture says other wise??????
Can you help me on this? Please Thank U

Ok Dave – You lost me on that last explanation. So If it is the HDs that my project is on should I go to 4 drives raid 0 or are you saying I can distribute (by type) video assets across other drives so I have many drives feeding the project. I will but drives happily if it will speed up my work.
I think my mother board does no have enough 6g satas to go with a 4 drive raid zero unless I drop down to 3g sata ports I have 4 i can use?
    What do you think?
    or switch to adobe?
