Heya… I’ve done all of that, and I’ve resized the images outside of pp as soon as I knew that it was around 2-3mb in sizes. But wasn’t doing any better… I’ve got a rough storyboard, so I know pretty much what to do but I don’t have a chance to do anything since when I import the image into timeline it crashed the computer. Will it help if I convert all the images into gif or tiff?

Running on Windows XP, 3.60GHz, 2.00GB of RAM, image size was around 3mb but already being re-sized outside of pp, and they are RGB jpegs, and one gif.

April 13, 2007 at 11:00 pm in reply to: Photoshop looses effects when flatten. Please help.Hi… I finally managed to flatten the image without loosing any effects. The photoshop I used to create the piece was photoshop 6, but when I brought it home and flatten it in photoshop CS it did it fine. So I guess it was the version that caused it? Thanks for the help 🙂

April 12, 2007 at 11:16 pm in reply to: Photoshop looses effects when flatten. Please help.Hi. Blending mode on the layers are normal, and one layer is an image while the other is a rasterized text. I flatten it using the menu on the Layers palette. And none of them is background layer.

Yup it’s all the same.
I managed to sort the problem out (finally!!! yay!), I re-import the clips that were having problem, only did minor adjustments to it, and exported to dvd, it worked fine… some people had suggested me to re-capture the footage, but I thought I’d give it a try by re-importing it and if that doesn’t work, then I’d re-capture. And it worked, so I’m very happy.
Thank you 🙂

I exported as Microsoft DV avi at 25p, and also to MPEG-2 DVD using Media Encoder, also PAL High Quality 4:3.

The project is DV PAL 25p.
I exported the movie to DVD using PP. And also have tried using Encore, both set for PAL 25p.

Hmm, I’m not sure if I have access to that, most of my friends are using Final Cut Pro and I’ve never come across it at work… but I’ll look around and *fingers crossed* probably one of my friends happen to have it.
I’m working with some footage and a bunch of still images. I’ve done some experiments on AE and it worked great on the stills, but not that great on footage… so I’ll have to adjust some things and experiment some more in PP.
Thanks a lot 🙂
