I exported it as uncompressed avi through make movie. And it is a lossless file. I tried bringing it back to AE and did a ram preview, it worked while I played it back, but once I exported it again, it was still jaggy. I tried exporting as other formats, and also did a series of tests using different compressors, some couldn’t handle the resolution, while the other cut down the quality dramatically.

Thanks 🙂 I’m still finishing the motion graphics right now. Will definitely pop into the forum if I run into more trouble.

    Thank you 🙂

Thanks a lot. That would certainly help if I don’t have to render the whole lot. I’ll give it a go. Thanks 🙂

Thanks for the tips. Yes we would be using the particular comp to produce panorama projection. What I meant by editing on site was to edit during the rehearsal, the machine I’m working on would be taken on site. So I’d have to have whatever program I’ve been using (in this case it would be After Effect and – maybe – Premiere Pro) and I’d have to make some minor adjustments on site, so that’s DVD out of the question, because it would take too long to produce/author on site and that would mean we’d need extra equipment too.

I’m still having trouble trying to find the best file format to use to produce video with resolution of 2880 x 810. I don’t know what would be the best program that would be stable enough to use to run it.

Yup it was one of the first thing I tried, and came up with the same result.

    THanks 🙂

I normally apply flicker removal and it worked, you can find it by right clicking on the footage/clip in your timieline, choose field option, and select flicker removal.

Heya, it’s PAL, and it’s 720×576 for both.

The video is very jerky, and I don’t think my dvd player does that, I don’t think it has the slow motion function in it. Yup, usually I’d go with lower field first if it’s a normal/standard project, but this time I used the Matrox and it’s upper field first. However, I’ve tried on both lower and upper field, and both gave the same result.
