I do have a Blackmagic PCI board Decklink HD installed but I use the ‘built-in line input/output’ (the minijack at the back of the machine).

The clips are usually imported and not captured on this system.

I even get this with the countdown leader generated right there and now. Drag it to the sequence, it plays the sound, drag it back to the source monitor from the timeline and it still plays. Only when going from the media bin to the source monitor then no sound at all.

Hi Tom,

I installed PPro trial on my MacPro (with Decklink and FCP7 installed). I could get Blackmagic functionality in PPro after reinstalling Blackmagic drivers but no luck yet with Prores in PPro. Did you have to reinstall Quicktime at all?

I don’t have AE on that machine. FCP7 was there from the beginning and QT7 is up to date. Had to reinstall Blackmagic software in order to see BM in PPro. Will try a reinstall of QT.
