  • I’ve been capturing to 8-bit uncompressed, and the send to STPro Audio file is not even available, it’s greyed out. The only one available is the Multitrack option.

Also in motion if you do a search in the Help pdf for “performance” it will give you results for things to turn off or on for better performance. By following this it made my machine 2.5G5 run so much smoother.

I have yet to upgrade to FCP5, and was wondering if you can capture 8bit Uncompressed sdi to IMX50 with the IO? I see that you can capture 8bit uncompressed to DVCPro 50 in FCP4.5 but can you do the same but to IMX50 in FCP5?

I don’t know much about it and it might not even apply for what you need but Grass Valley came out with support for Apple with a couple of their News Products last year.

In DVDSP there is an option to have your layout much like IDVD under WINDOW-CONFIGURATIONS-BASIC or just hit F1. This will layout DVD Studio Pro in an easier format. As of other DVD authoring utilities, there are not many companies that want to contend with Apple. That’s why Adobe no longer supports Premier for Mac.

Hate to be contradictory but the demo was on a P4 660 which according to Intel is a 64 bit chip.
