walter biscardi” Re-read his statement. He said they announced the iPhone the following week, not released it.”

Re- read my statement, everyone knew about the new iPhone before Apple announced it. CNN, Fox, even Good Morning America covered the story before Apple made the official announcement.

If your wanting good Apple news before it happens Appleinsider.com or Macrumors.com are good to goto.

“I buy an iPhone for $499, less than a week later they announce the 3G for $299. “- James Roberts

Dude if you bought the previous iPhone the week before the 3G came out that’s your own fault, everyone including my grandma knew Apple was about to announce the new phone weeks if not months before the 3G came out.

  • Gotcha, it sounded like he wanted to deliver in that format.

How do you plan to deliver a program in ProRes to them? Hard Drive?

Government and Media have one thing in common, they are human both don’t trust each other and neither can be fully trusted. One thing is evident though, we have an enemy, and if given the chance they would do whatever they can to get in this country and destroy our freedom. Call me naive or what ever you want but when it comes to fighting them there are times we need to take off the boxing gloves when they are coming at us with sledge hammers. Do I agree with everything that the Gov or this administration does, NO. But at the same time I do believe when it comes to securing our borders they are doing the best they know how to do with the resource given to them.

Oh and NBC isn’t biased? Last week John Edwards gets caught with his mistress and none of the liberal media covers it. I guarantee you if that was a republican everyone even Fox would be all over it. Yeah that’s open thinking. And NBC, CBS, even ABC all have their own personal special interests at heart that they get across everyweek. You should know being and editor that the News can’t be trusted just as much as the Gov. A Month ago the Gov hauled tons of Uranium out of Iraq, but I thought there weren’t any weapons of mass destruction. Hmm maybe there wasn’t but at least they had the ability and motive to. Why didn’t NBC broadcast that?

Look I don’t think it’s right either that they can take your laptop at will and I think it should be overruled. I just don’t think most people have anything to worry about, obviously Walter if I were you I wouldn’t be taking my laptop out of the country if your working with Al Jezeera. They may be open minded and easy to work with, but they’re also a large Propaganda machine against our country. If you don’t think so that’s being naive.

    David,

I’m sorry if you are scared, if you need someone to hold your hand the next time you go through the airport call me. This kind of stuff has been happening for years, big brother has been watching all along. You know what, I’m not going to get freaked out about it because I have nothing to hide, maybe you do. After 9/11 I got frisked a handful of times, great, if they had done that on 9/11 the twin towers would be here this day. People got lazy and complacent and didn’t think anything would ever happen to them. Well we found out there are some people half way across the world that if given the chance would kill everyone of us.

If anyone on this forum ever gets their computer commandeered email me and then I will believe. Until then forget about it, unless you actually have something to hide. Then don’t go to the airport. Don’t go to DMV either, I had a warrant from back in my teenage years, turned around after getting my license renewed and Mrs Texas State Trooper hauled me off to jail.

That’s not a lot considering there are 280 million in the US and most of the names that are on the list live outside of the US and that count is what 7 billion. I have nothing to hide, I’m not going to fear them taking anything. The moment I do is when they take it away. If your last name is Bin Laden then I would probably back everything up and carry the footage on tape and give it to your production assistant.

Oh my goodness the sky is falling!

They already can do a lot of stuff to commandeer what ever, but unless your name shows up on the terrorist list I highly doubt that’s going to happen. If you pay cash for your ticket and carry lots of cash with you through the airport more than likely you will be taken aside. Why because you are probably a drug dealer.
