  • Hi!
I must admit that i do have the same problem (same GraphicCard)
    I adjust a small video to a 16/9 format using th FX-scaling.
Sometimes, after saving, closing, opening, it seems that vegas forgot everything and the video is small again. Sometimes it remembers a bit out of the cache and then its flickering… large, small, large…
btw i have another alphalayering problem discussed in another thread (i am posting now).
    Is it the graphicaccelerator?

i get the same weird noise effects (horizontal ones) with a tga-sequence and straight alpha.
It happens from time to time, appears and vanishes. Even when rendering out in Good Quality.

    Oh thanks.

Now i use TRIMMER for the whole sequence, In and Outpount with I and O, then A for putting this piece into the timeline, and I/O the next part.. and so on.
At the end i am Prerendering the Timeline (not the Trimmer) with the scanning enabled to get small clips and then i get a coffee (there we go).
At the end though, i must not forget to COPY/MOVE my prerendered movies to another (save) place because Vegas is deleting them after closing the programm. (Well at least i think Vegas is deleting them because i lost all of them once.)

The Mpeg is on my local drive… actually there are about 7 1GB files. But i need just some of the cameramoves the director shot. At the end I have to rearrange this for a motiongraphic spot.
But at the moment i need to select just the relevant shots and get rid of the rest.

Hah, got the same prob too.
I dont know how to change the internal link from one program to another one.
D***, why cant we get a complete english version.
Problem with the german version is, that the shortkeys arent working even when using a UK or US Keyboard.

oh its the adobe video productionbundle with all these goodies photoshop, audition … and everything works well in english… and the AE did so too… until yesterday.. and i didnt do anything. Nothing installed nor changed. Oh and i can still start the complete german AE, but there is no complete english anymore.
I took a picture. Can i upload it here somewhere?
Again, this is not an aprils joke… this is reality that will twist a poor compositors mind even a bit more!
