this works great, but you can’t crop the borders or change the size. I put in the RESZE effect and crop, but it doesn’t associate with the Avid Borders effect. In a perfect world, I’d like to put on the soft borders, resize and crop it so i could have like 10 of these images on screen.

Love my Avid, just getting back to the swing of things.

OK,

Now I got me some Boris stuff. Trying to remember what effect it was. Just trying to crop the image and put in a white border on the edges to make it look more like a photo…

Hi Shane,

Well that the big rub. I have neither boris nor Sapphire, which has a pretty simple step in getting the function. i guess all I have to work with is Avid pan and zoom…

Ahh… I get it, then what would be the best way to convert this to 1920X1080, 23.98, apple prores? i tried mpegstream clip and it wouldn’t take the bpav file.

Hi,

When i watch it through my XDCAm Clip browser, it says it was captured at 23.98, Rec, at 59.94, and format at 59.94i. So it should be 24fps, right? i made a screenshot of the XDcam file below.
