Yep, I sent it off yesterday. They said it sounds like a media card reader circuit board or something like that. DOes that make sense?

I have tried 4 different types. They all do it. Transcend, Panasonic and Sandisk Extreme, and Levar. It will show it is recording, but media card time left will stop counting down after anywhere from 2 minutes to sometimes it runs 60 minutes before freezing. Will not turn off, stop recording unless pull battery.

  • My HMC150 is doing the same thing. Freezes and have to pull battery out. HAve tried several cards and they all do it. Sometimes it records OK, sometimes just a minute or two and counter for media card stops. Can’t turn off unless pull battery out.
    Please help

It is clearer, and I really appreciate your time. Could you please tell me what you believe to be the best settings for these. I have been using one of the default ones, I think the -3 one. What about the boxes at the bottom, gain and smooth, should they be checked?

    Thanks Rick, Dennis

I really don’t understand the ratio thing 4 to 6 or the adjusting slider until I see a gain reduction on meters. Please explain for I am new at the audio.
    Thanks so much, Dennis

I am rendering avi files. It always renders to a new avi file and rendering complete. Everything looks OK when I watch the avi file. But I always get this message right after it gets to 100% and says complete, then this box pops up about an unexpected error. Wondering why I get this message. I didn’t get it before I reformatted my hard drive.

But what if my “C” drive is not full, would that still cause this error?

No, it is using the default C:/My Documents folder as far as I know for the temp files. The rendering is going to my raid ‘0’ configuration on a 500 gig partition. It is a brand new system. So you think it may be from my temp files folder being on my system partition? What does that hurt in your words?

    Thanks, Dennis
