My hmc150 stops recording and freezes up after several minutes?
I just got the camera. I have 2 16gb Panasonic Gold SDHD series 10’s. When I record I may get 30 minutes or 15 minutes or 4 minutes of recording and then the camera freezes up. The record light remains lit but the time clock is stopped. I am not able to shut down the camera either. I have to pull the battery to shut it down. I did do a firmware upgrade and I was able to record all the way through the SDHC card when I 1st tested it but after 2 or 3 tests the problem came back.

I’d guess it’s the card- send it back for warranty repair.

My HMC150 is doing the same thing. Freezes and have to pull battery out. HAve tried several cards and they all do it. Sometimes it records OK, sometimes just a minute or two and counter for media card stops. Can’t turn off unless pull battery out.
