thank you for that info. So, if the broadcast carrier isn’t capable of receiving anything else from us except Digi Beta. We are installing a Sony HD deck to deliever our programs on. How do most people deliever 5.1 surround to broadcasters? is there a standard?

Well, I have a supplier that has some reference monitors and a sub for sale. I was looking at the M-audio box. But the one we did have, had issues with MAC. Is this what most post houses are doing? Mixing down in Pro Tools and then bringing back into FCP to On-line to Digibeta.

you can’t link a key command to a transition. Other then the defaults that are set.
Is that the color red you want to use?

Yeah. Thanks, thats sort of how I’ve done it until now. I didn’treally try the round-tripping until now and I’m not too thrilled about it. I think STP is an awesome program but this RTriping isn’t working.

Now you’re bringing up memories we all tried to get out of our heads. This is a grab from the clients website. I want to grab it, crop it and then fly it around over whatever crap they want in the back ground. And Motion should cut the video better then anything else. I could do a composite matte in FCP but I think it won’t do the same.

no its not a problem. Go into your A/V setting and make sure your output device is set to whatever you’re using via firewire.

It looks thin in HD unless you add an alpha channel.

Just take, say an image and want to crop and then key over video in FCP. ANd we need the alpha to cut the video better.

we usually use AE, but we have not installed it on the new Macs. So, I guess we’ll have too.

When you use it as a stand alone. How do you sync video in the play back to edit sound FX too? ANd do you export out of stp and then Import into browser of FCP?
