May 24, 2005 at 7:13 pmwell all of this was pretty general
and about sliders, i dont think they can be used cross comp(which was my question)
but i might be wrongabout text, what is the name of the variable that controls the text?

May 12, 2005 at 5:01 amokay i managed to remove that kind of thing by making really clean illustrator path that wouldnt cross anywhere, which apparently invigorator hates
else i’m still stuck at trying to reproduce my example, seems, the lights management is quite hard to handle

May 10, 2005 at 10:08 pmalso i still have probs with overlapping polygons
here’s an example:

i tried changing hard shading/spikebuster/other params
but even spikebuster at max level doesnt solve it…
oh and i’m always in full quality mode in afx… and it’s the same there -

May 10, 2005 at 5:41 pmthanks, i’ve indeed been able to remove it by tweaking some of these settings, but also by going into the advanced object settings(numbers of mesh, etc)
now a few questions:
1.i’ve noticed sometimes invigorator will start to “freeze”, i see the size box changing, but not the 3D in it, it’s very weird, if i press ok, the render in afx changes, but not when i’m in the preview box.2.i’ve been trying to work on an example i have to reproduce how it looks, so as to see how would it work in invigorator, but atm i must admit i’m close from it, here’s the thing:
https://kosmos.kawaii-shoujo.net/example.png
I originally redid it in a full featured 3D software, but the whole process was rather heavy, and i’m wondering how could i do such a thing in invigoratorThanks for any help on both questions,

if you’re a student they even have a free version for students
and the suite is pretty complete, you can do mostly anything -

May 5, 2005 at 10:12 pmyeah, but using bitmap/prerasterized stuff introduces some sort of motion blur that’s somehow too strong… all of this is of course linked to the problem of rendering in discrete space but still… somehow i feel like the way afx calculates subpixel motion is not very good…
