Wow good thing I didn’t upgrade yet. I’ve got a job to finish with DNxHD files. I hope they’re working on this. Oops…

    Thank you, Peter.
Is there a list of improvements, fixes, etc. anywhere?
    Is DF timecode supported now?

Thanks Walter. I read that when it posted but I felt the need to post about this issue again in hopes that BMD would chime in and shed some light on whether they are fixing this problem soon. Jumping through hoops for what should be a standard workflow is vexing to say the least.

Wow. This is clearly not a workaround that anyone grading a longform project would ever want to do. Perhaps BM should have tested the Avid workflow before releasing and charging people for Avid DNxHD licensing. Hope they work it out quickly.

Please reveal any workarounds you figure out for this problem! I\’m about to attempt this workflow next week and I\’d love to get any tips you discover. I have the $500 DNxHD add-on software and it would be an expensive failure if it doesn\’t do what I\’m hoping it will, which is maintain continuity of files from Avid to Resolve and back again. Please keep this thread going and perhaps I\’ll have something to add going forward.

    Thanks
    Dean
