    Hi Raquel,

The VideoWall works for Vegas 10 as well. The installer will not let you choose version 10, but if you install anyway you will find the VideoWall in the sony application data directory for your user account:

for windows 7 that would be:
    c:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Sony\Vegas Pro\[version]\Application Extensions

    The VideoWall files are:
    DaviTools VideoWall.dll and DaviTools VideoWall.png

Find these files and move or copy them to the equivalent Vegas 10 folder.

    Hope that helps,

    David

    Hello Harold,

I will get to it soon. A busy weekend awaits me, but next week I will work on the 9 version. I’ll let you know as soon as the download is available.

If you can’t add borders manually than it looks like this is a problem with Vegas, not specifically with the Video Wall tool.

    1. If you try one of the preset video walls, do you have borders?
    2. If you add borders manually, does that work?

Just to be sure, did you set a size greater than 0 for the border?

    Hi Tommy,

Are you still having problems with the borders? The borders are done by kind of a registry hack. Does the Video Wall tool (i.e. Vegas) run as a limmited user?

    Hi Morty,

The Video Wall has two ways of applying the channels to your video events. The setting ‘Create channel for each Event’ on the settings tab determines which method is used. When this option is checked it will create an effect for each event.
It will do that in order of the events. So if you have two video events on track 1 and one on track 3 and you add three channels it will attach the first channel to video event 1 on track 1, the second on event 2 on track 1 and the third on even 1 on track 3.

If you want the effect to be applied to the whole track (so to all of the events on the track), uncheck ‘Create channel for each Event’ on the settings tab.

    HTH,

    David

    Hi Steve,

I don’t have any fixed plans for other extensions yet. Do you have an suggestion?
