Copy to storage location. Originally the Library A scenario was a managed library. I consolidated out. This was followed by setting the new library on the local drive with media storage location being external.

This is why I am now a pessimistic person. I will rarely be disappointed. Today brings no joy or disappointment. I like it that way.

I am going out on a limb here but why does Apple not name the versions of Final Cut Pro after their newest OS by any chance? That would make more sense to me. They could at least at how Adobe describes their versions. To me X seems kind of outdated.

I will not be able to edit train videos in FCP X for some reason. Could it be there are no tracks? I mean trains need tracks.

More likely it will be another day of disapair as FCP X was not updated as usual. I am going to be pessimistic to avoid disappointment. 😉

Cheese grater Mac Pro thinking about the 5K iMac later this year. Not sure how Resolve will run on the new machine so still deciding. Most of my editing will be done in Final Cut with Resolve, possibly Fusion, being used for color grading and finishing. Any feedback on an ideal system to get great performance out of Resolve is appreciated.
