You’re not imagining things…I’ve experienced this issue before with FCS 2 and Leopard (not Snow). It does seem to be completely random and quite infrequent though. My best guess is that it’s caused when you minimize FCS 2 and run some other application and try to switch back to FCS 2, but I don’t have any idea which application it could be.

I’m also having the issue. Trying to figure out how to open old projects that already have CC Particle World in them. Wish there was a way to substitute plug-ins so that it wouldn’t crash immediately.

Someone posted this on the Squeeze forum as well. I believe this is going to be fixed in a coming software update.

Geez, we just bought a Fibremax not too long ago. Does this mean they aren’t selling any replacement parts such as drive modules?

May 15, 2008 at 6:37 pm in reply to: Corporate Job Posting – Are we going to keep taking this?My guess is that job description was written with someone specific already in mind. They already have the person they’re going to hire and they used his/her qualifications in the job description because they technically still have to interview other folks.

February 15, 2008 at 6:18 pm in reply to: How does XDCAM EX play with XDCAM EX in Final Cut?Sounds like it works pretty well. Though the reason I asked is that I tend to drop frames playing my overcrank 720p footage in a 1080i project, so I have been considering converting the 720 stuff to 1080 before editing.

December 31, 2007 at 8:14 pm in reply to: Sony XDCAM EX1 and Letus Extreme 35mm adaptorPhillip,
I am blown away by your films shot with this combo. I have a EX1 on the way and I would love to get that “film look” that you are getting. I was wondering if you could give me some advice on the Letus Extreme.
If you had to recommend just two or three lenses to buy for use with this combo, what would it be? I currently don’t have any lenses other than the Canon EOS 28-135mm lens that came with my 40D digital camera. Of course, Canon EOS lenses would be the most ideal since I could also use them with my 40D, but then there’s the iris problem that might be a pain with the Letus Extreme.
If you were starting from scratch, what 3 lenses would you get for this combo? (price being no object)
