  • Audio clip names not appearing in Premiere Pro CC timelines?

Posted by David Kudell on July 11, 2013 at 9:43 pm

Just upgraded to CC and none of the audio regions in my sequences have clip names in them. I can’t seem to find any preference anywhere to turn them on.

If I drag an audio clip from the project window to the sequence I see the clip name as long as I’m holding the mouse down, but as soon as I release the mouse button to place it in the timeline, the clip name disappears.

Mac version, running OS X 10.7.5

Audio Clip Names are off by default in Premiere Pro CC. To turn them on go to the Timeline Display Settings (wrench icon) select Show Audio Names.

Thanks from me too! It was driving me nuts to not be able to identify audio clips.
