is the black frame showing on the Encore Preview??? it should not be so noticeable on the burned DVD..

do you still have the burned DVD disc?, if you do then just copy and paste the VIDEO_TS folder from the disc onto a folder on the hard drive… then if you want to burn another copy using Encore then just open Encore and go to FILE > BUILD DVD > DVD DISC then change to DVD VOLUME in the SOURCE WINDOW and then navigate to where you stored the VIDEO_TS folder earlier..
Also try doing a windows search on your hard drive(s), thats if you remember the name of the project or folder…

Encore normally places the files in the “My Documents” folder, if you need to check the location then just compile your recent project and then look to see where Encore or Prem Pro is actually saving the project. You can specify a location of your choice in the compile window.

It’s one of those situations where one piece of software can do things that the others can’t, and vice versa, the only one that can do them all is Sonic Scenarist but that cost’s “thousands of $’s” and probably the same amount again to learn how to use it properly.
I dumped DVD Lab some years ago in favour of Encore, as Encore enabled me to do the things i couldn’t accomplish in DVD LAB. But now I would say that the tables are reversed somewhat, although the tight integration with Encore and other Adobe appz are the strong point.
Make no mistake, DVD Lab Pro is one powerfull piece of software for the intial price(that has a small hardrive footprint) unlike Encore that is now become bloated. It’s one of those “you pays your money and you takes your choice” scenarios..

try burning just the menu to DVD RW and check it out on your DVD player to see if the highlight subpicture is still on drugs…LOL as sometime the Encore preview function leaves a lot to be desired…

not supported in Encore Version 2.0 (not sure if Version CS3 has this feature)…DVD LAB Pro does have this feature as does Sonic’s scenarist

yes it is possible , you would need multiple menu copies each with the respective button audio (added to the menu), and then use the auto activating feature of Encore. So that when the person uses the remote to navigate the buttons the corresponding menu +button audio will be played. Will take a fair bit of setting up depending on how many buttons you will be using.
