I believe that converting the expression into keyframes would makes the json file too big for a website.

Here we are again. I am making progress 🙂
I created several version of a reference image with different exposure.
I drawn the building blocks of the halftone pattern, from minimum to max thickness, and saved them as PNGs. I imported everything in a photo mosaic software and imported the results in Photoshop, where i blended them together. the effect is close, yet I still hope there is a way to achieve this only in Photoshop.

of course, and thank you for your prompt response.
The code works, but as soon as I set a keyframe on the rectangle path it doesn’t anymore: the rectangle resizes from its center as per default.
The file attached has two boxes inside which are identical except for the keyframe mentioned above. (“BOX” even slides down at some point and I don’t know why). You can easily infer the problem by playing with the rectangle path dimensions and the timeline.

sorry to bother you again! but the code doesn’t work when I set a keyframe on the content size ☹ which is actually the point of the whole thing. I really don’t get why… any clue?

What I do is pressing shift on the keyboard and click on one of the points. This deselect it and allows me to select then the ones I want.
