There is not. You set up sequences before putting anything into them at all and that’s what you are stuck with. As someone who is used that being the norm, that auto conform feature really bugged me.

Or you could edit in Premiere and do this without a 3rd part app.

Just tried it out. When you apply the effect to video, it asks that you register. If you don’t, then it goes into trial mode and it won’t ask you again till you restart AE.
No request for a serial number, though it’s on my box which I just got 2 days ago.

No hidden layers, but the back ground color was not black.

My background color was not black. I’ll try changing it to black and taking off the set matte effect to check.

I usually chose my output specs for the sequence settings.

There is no job you can’t do with Premier Pro CS5+. I work on PPro and FCP interchangeably and vastly prefer PPro on a PC. Win7 is better than Mac OSX, unless it’s all you know.
