I would edit in PPro. Create your titles with Alpha in AE and cut into Ppro. I don’t know if SB previews audio during voice over – I imagine it would, though you’d have to export the complete video as an AVI first to do it. Cut the VO into PPro and do any mix there. Youtube takes wmv and flv, check their site for optimal exporting.

Well – if’s like the footage you linked – you can pretty much just cut in black video over the titles. If the stars passing by are important – you might just make your own and dissolve them in and out.

    Yes.
Export from PPro using a wide screen preset or select 16:9 on the video tab in the encoder.

I can’t get it to install. The installer crashes every time.

Did you shoot 24p? 24pa? 30i? If you match the preset to your footage – it will work. Using the encoder preset for wide screen high quality should then produce great results.

You can assemble edit to a camera? I’ve never heard of that.

Plus there seems to be NO good solution for transferring HD footage from a Mac to a PC. Animation codec is too big, anything else introduces new compression. It is really unfortunate the Apple doesn’t read MXF files natively.

On the PC you can export to P2 as well, can this be done from FCP? That would be the best solution.

In CS3 – updated – there are DVCPro HD P2 presets.
