After thinking about it, it is like when you pull taffy, the taffy strings along until it breaks. Very much like that idea – as the spaceship comes out of warp, the fabric of space is pulled with it and then snaps back into normal space.

I do understand that, but if the particles did not reach the edges of the screen, it would be easier to resize them smaller because you were never see the cropping.

When for example a tunnel emitter shoots out, it fills the entire screen and therefore crops at the top, bottom and edges. When I therefore bring that into an NLE and try to resize it, I am seeing that cropping around the edges. Does that make sense?

Ok, I guess that is not going to work in the way I had it set up presently.
Alan, I have a 3D camera running around a scene (3D space), but the place where I want the PI to composite is not moving (the camera is moving). When I export the data, it is the same number for each of the 400 frames because only the camera moves…so I am not sure how to proceed from here. Any suggestions?

Thanks for that. I am trying to come up with a typical hollywood travelling through space (ala the movie Contact at the opening) – I wasn’t sure if I should go for the Radial blur through the stars or try to make up some nebula clouds or gas with particular and have the camera travel through that…
