Adding a text file to PI – from Truespace2PI
I have a TEXT file from the exporter – Position exporter to PI…so how do I import the text file (position data) into PI? After this is done, how do I take that info back into my 3d program?

R-click on the emitter in the hierarchy (after adding to the stage) and “import – position data”.
There’s no export back to 3D — you render the particles with an alpha channel for compositing back on your 3D render.

Ok, I guess that is not going to work in the way I had it set up presently.
Alan, I have a 3D camera running around a scene (3D space), but the place where I want the PI to composite is not moving (the camera is moving). When I export the data, it is the same number for each of the 400 frames because only the camera moves…so I am not sure how to proceed from here. Any suggestions?
