This problem occurred for me for the first time today after exporting about 7 files over night: each file was less then a 2 minutes long, some no longer then 30 seconds, but i exported them in mpeg 2, 1440 x 1080 upperfield. i was basically exporting clips from hdv m2t footage with effects and CC. ive done this before, no problem. the fact that i left it exporting overnight with a list of files qued up has me suspecting the continuous process is to blame – maybe with those xmp files?

Aye, I’ve been updated for sometime and only recently stumbled into this error. Adobe CS4.

    Hi:

Yeah, Im having a similiar problem. I’m working with a standard 1440 x 1080, 29.97 format. I already have the footage imported, but I exported part of my master footage with some corrected color, and then tried to import it, and it told me it was too large. I know its not the dimensions thats really too large, so whats going on here? All I did was was make the clip black and white, high contrast, and its probably no longer then 2 minutes. I’ve done this with other sections of my timeline without a problem. I’m working in adobe premiere CS4.
