File video dimension too large
Hey im new here and just wondering if i could get some help please
I just bought Premiere Pro CS4 and im just having endless problemsRight now i am trying to open an existing project i made in Pro 2.0 and i keep getting this message
“File video dimensions (width/height) too large.”These are the source video specs
CineForm 10-bit Visually Perfect HD (Wavelet)
AVI
2048 x 865Any help would be fantastic thankyou
PS: Ive just used the Adobe update and same problem -

Hi Matt,
What kind of project are you working on with 2048 x 865 dimensions? These are not standard “video” dimensions that I’m aware of.
Try using the “Desktop” preset, customizing the settings to match your 2048×865 needs, and start a NEW project that way. Next, Import the old project and see if that works.
Also, make sure the Cineform codec is installed on the current machine.

Best is to finish in Pro2 and start fresh in CS4, but you can try importing Pro2 project into CS4.

I wish I could but this is a new machine and I no longer own Pro2.0! 🙁 Wish I did. CS4 seems to be riddled with bugs -

Yeah, Im having a similiar problem. I’m working with a standard 1440 x 1080, 29.97 format. I already have the footage imported, but I exported part of my master footage with some corrected color, and then tried to import it, and it told me it was too large. I know its not the dimensions thats really too large, so whats going on here? All I did was was make the clip black and white, high contrast, and its probably no longer then 2 minutes. I’ve done this with other sections of my timeline without a problem. I’m working in adobe premiere CS4.
