Digital Anarchy’s 3d Assistant package is expensive but, if you don’t have Boris’s perspective cube, and you’re doing cubular stuff often, DA’s tool will make your life much easier.

Exporting almost everything form AE is possible these days and it’s all in the online help system.

Just AE? Probably just some bad media. Find it and kill it then recreate it.
Toss the prefs.
Run Disk Repair form your OS10 install disk, repair permissions.
But you must find what is causing the crashes or you just chase ghosts.bogiesan

A really good 3d animation artist?
A really good camera motion control system like a jib and a crane.
After Effects is not part of the general production except maybe for the animation you would do on the logo but you don’t say anything about those palns.AE might work on your last card effect but you’ve still got shoo the rest of the scene. No special plugins required. Just lots of time and practice.

Nope.
And nope.You can try to remove one field but you will give up one half of your vertical resolution. You will lose one half of the temporal rez, too, but that can be considered a highly refined stylization, like you planned it. Oh, 24p? Progressive? Totally? You’re screwed, reshoot or do some heavy rethinking. Try not to lie to your client.

First, try changing the distortion for the clip in the Motion Tab in FCP. If that doesn’t solve it, post again, someone else will have a suggestion.

On one particular tape, FCP broke up the tape into 5 clips, one was 20 minutes, another was 5, another 30, etc.< Contrary to the other guys, who actually know much more about this than I do, it is my understanding that HDV comes in this way and there's nothing you can do about it.
