None that I’ve seen. The theory is that Leopard pulls most apps into the Intel universe and uses all of the GPU’s power. But FCP is still a few years/revs away from realizing any potential from your GPUs. You get all of Leopard’s other stuff and it probably speeds up your Intel interface noticeably. But

You probably have point of interest activated.
Animating 3D cameras is tough. Suggest you disable all but one nice layer while you’re practicing and turn off all lights.
Also might be easier to animate a null layer and either parent the camera to it or point it at the null.

FCP has a built-in “viewfinder” effect. KNow anyone who uses FCP?
There used to be similar effects in one or more of the major AE plugin packages in the olden days, can’t recall which, but since I don’t have it installed in CS3, they must have stopped publishing or were charging too much for an update for me to bother.
Toolfarm lists AE plugs, try searching there maybe.

Not worth waiting for that thing to load.
Try a different way of describing your sought-after effect?bogiesan

Why would you want to capture or transcode everything, all 150 hours, at or to maximum resolution?
Shouldn’t you be taking advantage of your NLE’s ability to bring your footage in at a reasonable rez, get a rough cut ready to go, and then recapture only what is in use?bogiesan

Impossible to tell from here, sorry.
But you can trust me on this, even if you refuse to believe it at the moment, it’s a user error and you’ll be quite surprised at easy it was to fix in a few minutes.Start with some basics in the tutorials or the opening few illustrations in the online manual.
Does LiveType work?

Each of the editions has incorporated a bit of new material for the current rev of AE. If you are an experienced AE user and have the first or second edition, you might benefit form the fourth. If you do not have any of the previous editions, BUY IT.
The Meyers are the gold standard for printed material about AE but Angie Taylor comes in a strong second for beginenrs. Richard Herrington and his crew have a different approach, a league of their own.

Can’t read you mind, buddy. What part of that clip is relevant to your post? What are you asking about? Camera movement for a remote cctv system, video cameras in general, or camera movement within After Effects’s 3D environment?

November 23, 2007 at 4:24 pm in reply to: Camera movement (rove across time) need some adviceNot sure how to answer this without upsetting you: RTFM.
Setting keyframes for camera movement and rotation is exactly the same as setting keyframes for anything in AE. Roving, in this case, is not the approach you would take since you must create pauses. You set a kf at the pause, hold it, and set another kf at the end of the pause to start your movement again. Apply eases as desired. So, if that’s not what you were asking, try us again.

Not that emulates Card Dances many other features such as being able to use grayscales for mapping almost every animation parameter.
But Digital Anarchy’s set of 3D tools is remarkably cool.https://digitalanarchy.com/3Dassist/3Dassist_main.html
Card Dance is a particle system, not a 3D system, so it renders relatively rapidly. ONce you start placing CD’s dozens or hundreds of cards into true 3D space (with blur and DOF and lights), you increase your rendering times explosively into exponential territory. A ten second render in 2d can take days to render in 3d.
