I’ve finally rebuilt a website in 3d space and have a camera pointing at it. Now I have a very frustrating problem.
I can change my point of interest, no problem. but when I try to move the camera itself I get weird results.
For example, if I try to move it along the X axis, I also get changes on the Y and Z axis though I have no expression or nothing there.
I am using AE CS3 on Windows.

How are you manipulating the camera?

Are you dragging one of the axes?

    Are you scrubbing layer values?

Are you moving the camera body?

Which Axis mode are you in Local, World or View?

You probably have point of interest activated.

Animating 3D cameras is tough. Suggest you disable all but one nice layer while you’re practicing and turn off all lights.

Also might be easier to animate a null layer and either parent the camera to it or point it at the null.
