Will check it out. A Double wide would work but i’d prefer single as we have a Decklink in their as well.

I do not have any of these declink or blackmagic options, it onl lists under audio hardware. Seems i am not the only one with this issue.

Thanks Chris, but i do not have that folder, i am aware of where it is supposed to be. I can’t understand why it isn’t there though, that is my issue.

I did a new install of premiere, then a new install of black magic, then BMD ran some auto updates, did all this just a few hours ago and still nothing. I know what I am supposed to do but there is no BMD folder in the new sequnce section.

As i mentioned, I have installed the latest software available from blackmagic (downloaded them this morning and reinstalled) but there is still no sign of the Blackmagic Design folder anywhere.

It works wonderfully in FCP7 and also in AE CS5.5 but no joy in premiere.

thanks for the response. I may be doing something wrong somewhere, but as far as i can tell there is no option to create a “blackmagic sequence”. There are only the regular presets and no compression options for blackmagic HD or blackmagic anything (as in FCP or even after effects)

i tried playig the tape in a Sony HVR-M15E HDV deck, same problem, and in a Sony Z1, same problem. however o have got it playing a few times just fine but then if i turn the camera off or shuttle the tape the problem happens again. it doesnt happen on a particular part of the tpe, just at random.

Head Cleaning doesnt seem to help at all. Is there anything else i should try?

it doesnt play through external monitor or on the camera’s LCD. i’ll try running a head cleaning cassette.
