Thanks for your reply. The board seems seated properly so perhaps it has died.
Is there a way to confirm this?
If we have to replace the board is there now something that would allow me to run Media 100
in our G5? I was at the Media 100 web site and I’m not sure I understand what you can do with the whole SW platform and what my options are at this point. We’ve kept our G4 around just for Media 100 and use the G5
for all our other apps.

Again, any advise appreciated.

Okay, I think I’m getting there.I Created an Illustrator file that will import into
Invigor, however I just get a solid shape all one colour, with just a hint of the
lettering when you turn it.
Having Fun with it anyway!

I’m enjoying working with text in Invigorator. It really is a very
intuative GUI. Now if I can do a decent job in illustrator I’m all set.

Silly me, Being a Canadian I told the OS during setup I wanted
the Canadian keyboard (I doubt there’s much difference).
AE needs it set to USA.

Hello,

I had a similar problem once. It could be your slot configuration, if you are using
a dual monitor set up with two video cards. The system might not be able to display your
Media 100 record or source windows on
the second display monitor, and playback at the same time.
The problem will be more apparent if the image is a very high resolution graphic etc.
Try moving your Video and audio monitors to the primary monitor,
or better yet switch them off when mastering to tape and watch on your VTR’s monitor.
This worked for us.
