  • I think you have misunderstood me or I haven’t explained myself correctly.

I would like to know if there is a way to have the reflection always mimic the text. So if I change the main text from one word to another the reflection will reflect the new word automatically.

Using VLC with deinterlace set to discard is great tip thank you Jon, I can now at least judge on the pc if I will see a problem on the dvd.

The clip is actually an image sequence so field order doesnt apply ( I think ?) the images are 1280 x 720. I am saving an output to Ipad so I dont want to apply a slight blur as the sequence as it is looks great on the ipad.

Thanks for the advice but it still has the moire problem when exported to MPEG2-DVD with export settings high eg max bitrate 8.7 min 7.3Mbps VBR 2 pass with max render quality render enabled

When I play the m2v file on my computer it looks fine but on the DVD from Encore it is still flickering in the same places

Is it the better resolution on my monitor that stops me seeing the moire on the pc ?

What else could I try apart from blurring the offending sections ?
