Just one text entry affects text and reflections …how ?
I have created text and set up a copy of the text flipped and Rasterized to allow me to apply a gradient overlay to mimic a reflection.
My question is how can I set this up so that I only have to change the text once and have the reflection automatically reflect the new text.

You can copy the FX from one layer to another layer by dragging the FX while you press the Alt button.

I think you have misunderstood me or I haven’t explained myself correctly.
I would like to know if there is a way to have the reflection always mimic the text. So if I change the main text from one word to another the reflection will reflect the new word automatically.

You should be able to do this if you do not rasterize your text, but instead place it in a Smart Object, then duplicate your Smart Object layer and use the duplicate to create the reflection.
If you update the text in either the reflection or the main text smart object and save then it should update them both. Both layers are referencing the same embedded file.
